I get up every day thinking about ways I can best help leaders and teams use their Strengths to build the practices they need to meet the challenges of change. As a certified Gallup Global CliftonStrengths Coach and experienced advisor, my clients value my insights, expertise, inclusivity and ability to build trust and their capacity to meaningfully grow and change. I combine my abilities to bring the essential “soft" skills needed to create space for connection and trust with deep sector expertise, resulting in growth and impact.
Over the past 25 years I have worked with hundreds of individual leaders, team and board members in over 100 organizations with revenues ranging from $500K to $30M. I have helped social entrepreneurs hire talent and create inclusive and learning cultures in the early stages of organizational growth (New Profit, Project Evident); worked to build the revenue, collaboration and communication capacity of many National Park Service nonprofit partners; and have extensively advised and developed strategies, programs, funding models and messaging across all types of philanthropic organizations (Council on Foundations, Philanthropy Massachusetts), work recognized with awards from the Boston Business Journal and New Ventures in Philanthropy.
My commitment to helping others learn, grow and succeed is life-long. My favorite job was teaching history at The Lincoln School in Kathmandu Nepal. I remain a student at heart with a deep interest in race and gender equity, history, politics, creativity, nature and brain science. I make paper art, write, practice yoga and mentor. I am a Certified Gallup Global CliftonStrengths Coach with a BA in History and MA in Teaching from Tufts University.
